Facebook is all set to shut down its Like Box for pages plugin on June 23rd, 2015 in a bid to make website owners use the new, visually rich Page Plugin which also gives an option to embed the page posts. Facebook is all set to shut down its Like Box for pages plugin on June 23rd, 2015 in a bid to make website owners use the new, visually rich Page Plugin which also gives an option to embed the page posts. The company quietly said in an announcement on the Like box plugin Page.
Users will have to remove the old code (Like box’s code) and paste in the Page Plugin’s code to get the new enhanced page widget in place on their websites. You can see it in action on the right sidebar of our blog.
